FIRST AID
Members can undertake any First Aid course that provides them with a recognised certificated course and includes the following:
aims and principles of first aid
action to be taken in an emergency
basic life support
management of the unconscious casualty
assisting and treating a casualty who is wounded, bleeding or shocked
Local Community Councils provide reasonably priced courses but please do not contact the SIR for details of these.
