Analyzing Personality Patterns Through the Feet
by Mauricio (Moshe) Kruchik.

This beautifully illustrated book presents a well argued thesis for the analysis and understanding of emotional interpretation and the effect this may have on our health through reflexology treatments.
Moshe uses the four elements, earth, water, fire and air as the basis of his emotional structure when looking at the corresponding areas of the feet.  This basic theme runs throughout and when he introduces the case histories, we are given a fuller picture of how effective he feels this can be when treating our clients.
Each of the body’s systems is covered in considerable detail, making analogous connections between physical, emotional and psychological characteristics.   The arguments in all areas are thorough, and accompanied by comprehensive illustrations and diagrams, which combine to make a persuasive case in an area of therapeutic treatment which is open to much debate and widely varying opinion.
The use of analogy as a basis for argument may not suit everyone, but for those who wish to extend their understanding of reflexology into aspects beyond the immediately physical, this is an engaging and challenging book by an acknowledged expert in his field, which has received widespread international praise.
It is particularly pertinent to SIR members as Moshe Kruchik will be offering a course on his system in Scotland next year.   Details will be published in ‘Footnotes’ or contact Annette Lobo on me@annettelobo.wanadoo.co.uk
